Kate Chapman

Born in Lancashire (UK), Kate moved to Cyprus at the age of 6 where she soon discovered her love of singing and joined the cultural group ‘Diastasi’.

On moving back to the UK at the age of 16, Kate trained at the RSAMD in Glasgow (Cameron Mackintosh Scholarship) and with the National Youth Theatre.

Kate’s credits include:

Theatre: The Enchanted Pig, Grease (Sandy), Mamma Mia (Sophie), Les Miserables (Eponine), The Frog Prince, Far From The Madding Crowd, Once Upon a Time In New Jersey, Edinburgh Fringe Productions, Chekov, The Vagina Monologues.

Concerts: Private solo performances for the British Royal family, The Music of Hadjidakis (with Nana Mouskouri), West Side Story (Anita) with The City of Oxford Ochestra, An Evening of the Arts at The Palace with HRH Prince Charles, Michael Caine’s NYT Yuletide Lunch.

Cabarets: Funny Lass (Scotland). Guest performances at various other venues.

Television & Radio: Performed on Children in Need & clips for The Royal Variety Performance, she has also taken part in various radio interviews and live acoustic sessions throughout the UK.

Recordings: Original Cast Recordings of The Enchanted Pig, The Frog Prince, Far From The Madding Crowd, Once Upon a Time In New Jersey.

Kate also recorded her Debut Solo Album in 2007, entitled OCD.
