Amanda Kuppan

Amanda Kuppan was born in the UK from Mauritian parents, giving her the rhythm and love for music she has today. She can sing in various languages and sang her first song at the age of 4 in Hindi. Inspired by her Father and his love for multicultural music, she continued from there to map out her performing career.
Amanda’s main influences over the years have been varied from Rock and Pop through to Country and Western and Musical Theatre. Some of her favourite artists include: Dusty Springfield, Etta James, Celine Dion, Lionel Ritchie, Beyonce and many more. She has performed previously on UK television and stage and was a finalist in the television show ‘Pop Stars’ from which she was able to expand her repertoire. She is also an established dancer and actress and has represented her country as part of the Great Britain Latin American Team from which she won the British Closed championship numerous years running and participated in the European Championships.
Roles have previously included Maria / Anita (West Side Story), Gigi (Miss Saigon), lead female singer in productions of Mystique and Cloud Nine (Stageworks Worldwide Productions) female vocalist aboard cruise ships, lead female vocalist for girl group ‘Spirit’ in Majorca, entertained the army and RAF troops in UK and Germany and many more achievements.
Amanda sings repertoire across a wide range of genres, including cabaret, musical theatre, Pop, Rock, Motown and R&B. She now runs her own Entertainment Agency as well as a tribute band to the Pussycat Dolls and continues to perform for crowds both home and away. She is looking forward to travelling to Cyprus and hopes that her experience is one that she will remember!
